Of all the wedding anniversaries that married couple celebrated, silver wedding anniversary is the most looked forward to. When lovers have been together for 25 years as a married couple, its just appropriate to celebrate their magnificent relationship in a big way. But truth is, not all have the idea until the time has really come. Usually when that time comes, married couples are in quandary on what to do. They are placed in a situation where they have to make decision on how to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary just like the first time when lovers decide to get married.
Couples who reached their silver wedding anniversary, don’t really have the knowledge on how to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary. You may have a slight idea from talks and experiences of few people who have celebrated their silver wedding anniversaries. But you are actually faced flatly with question whether to go through the process of church wedding or not. Whether the celebration is going to be simple or grand and though your funds may be low, it is a memorable experience if you go through the church wedding again and recommit yourself for each other in the presence of God. Make this milestone of your life very memorable for both of you.
Just like other silver wedding celebrator, Tommy and I don’t know how to celebrate our 25th Silver wedding anniversary. We researched and talked with older couples and also to couples our age level who have celebrated their silver wedding anniversaries. Not much idea were given to us but with creativity, we manage to pull our way and make our 25th Silver wedding anniversary the grandest even on very low budget.
Here are some tips on how to make your 25th Silver wedding anniversary impressive even on very low budget.
1. Decide if you want a very private celebration or if you want to throw a great party and celebrate this day with friends and family.
2. Consider your budget. How much you can afford? If there are financial help then you can adjust your budget. Decide the tone of the celebration. Formal or not. Casual or not. Their decision will still be heavily dependent on the budget of the couple’s preferences.
3. Who are you inviting? If you are tight on budget you may stick to family members and close friends only. If your budget is big invite everyone since this is a grand day to celebrate anyway. Make a list of the expected guests. Invite family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and even playmates.
4. Is it going to be a church wedding with full entourage and full church wedding ceremony or renewal of vows only in the presence of few family members and friends?
5. If it is going to be renewal of vows then you don’t have buy or rent attire for the full entourage. You can go to the church and ask the priest to bless both of you after saying your renewal of vows for each other then off you go to your home or a restaurant where foods are prepared for the celebration.
6. If it is going to be a church wedding with full entourage and full church wedding ceremony, you still can make it grand even on low budget. How? Through your creativity and use of very practical ideas.

This is very useful information on the wedding anniversary. Last month, I arranged a renewal of wedding vows of my grandparents at one of the amazing wedding venues NYC. Arranged a vintage themed event and they liked it very much.
